Ross is one of the most exclusive communities in Marin County. Its stately homes, larger lots, parks, lake, and bike paths make it a town that residents and non-residents love.
Ross is less than 2 square miles, but the town has its own very sweet, but small downtown area. Check out the Marche Aux Fleurs restaurant and the Marmalade cafe. Ross Elementary School traditionally has the highest scores in the county, although it will vary a little year by year.
The Marin Art and Garden Center on Sir Francis Drake Blvd is home to "Pixie Park" ....a whimsical park and playground for tots and young children. See http://www.pixiepark.org/ for more information.
Ross is also home to Branson High School -- a private school that enjoys a gorgeous 17-acre campus. Two of the photos on this page are taken at the Branson campus.
Ross' residents are a mix of families that have been here for many generations, and newcomers who are welcomed into the community. It's a truly lovely place to live...and only 20 minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge.
